I’m a furniture designer and maker based in Manchester. I specialise in bespoke, hand-made furniture, placing emphasis on contemporary design, quality and excellent customer service. I work closely with clients in order to create what they envision for their spaces.
Cost
Pricing of bespoke furniture can be rather opaque at times, but I think it’s helpful to get across a general idea of the costs involved. Everything I make is made to measure, so the price can differ from piece to piece, but here are some starting points:
Wardrobes and tall cabinets: from £1500 per linear metre.
Dining Tables: from £900.
Additional items such as drawers are from £175 each.
About me
I graduated from Fine Art at Goldsmiths college before embarking on a career both as an artist and as an exhibitions technician working in art galleries and museums across the UK. In 2019 I decided to change direction and follow my interest in design and my love of making. I started Matt Denniss Workshop and the business has continued to grow and develop ever since.
